St. Francis Xavier School

My name is Jack Greubel and I recently moved to South Burlington with my wife Hannah who is originally from Richmond, Vermont. I am a native of Long Island, New York.

I have taught in Philadelphia and the Washington D.C. metro area. Most recently, I taught high school and middle school Social Studies and Government. I look forward to importing many of the same reading and analytical skills into middle school Language Arts, while also enjoying good books and stories. I hope my students are as excited to learn as I am to teach, and I am excited to have an amazing year with them.

I really enjoy historical/fantasy/sci-fi books, video games, and cycling. I am learning to love hiking in the great state of Vermont, too. I am also an avid board game fan and hope to include an element of play in my class this year.
