St. Francis Xavier School

My name is Emmaline Mingone and I am ecstatic to be the Kindergarten teacher at St. Francis Xavier school! Before teaching at SFX, I was a Kindergarten teacher at Richford Elementary School.

I grew up in the Catskill Mountains in New York State and lived there for the majority of my life. I graduated from the University of Scranton, a Jesuit university, in 2021, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Primary Education. While at the University of Scranton, I was deeply involved in Campus ministries, which is how I met my husband Christopher. Christopher and I got married October 2022. Once we moved to Vermont, we quickly fell in love with the beautiful area where we enjoy hiking, skiing & exploring new places! We knew right away that we wanted to settle down here, so we recently bought a house here in Winooski where we reside with our sweet dog Myles.

Not only did Vermont feel like home shortly after I moved here, but the St. Francis Xavier community did as well. I have been a parishioner at St. Francis Xavier church since moving here in 2021 and then briefly after, became the Kindergarten teacher at St. Francis Xavier School in 2022!

I am beyond grateful for all of the amazing people I have met while being a part of the SFX community, many of which have become like family to me.

I am honored to be a part of the SFX community where I am able to share my passion for teaching and faith with the students of SFX!
